Phlomo
I have had Phlomo for a few days now, it is a free app that turns your photos into "Lomo" style photos.
^Here is the menu, you can choose one of your photos to "Phlomo" or take a new photo. Then, you upload it to Flickr. So you have to have a Flickr account for this app to really work to your advantage. Because it doesn't save your photos unless you go to the settings to check "Yes" for "Save a copy of Phlomoized Photo" And even when you do that the photos come out with a low resolution.
The effects are nice, but with the low resolution and not being able to save how you would like to, I wouldn't recommend this app. Even though it is free, it's not really worth it.

Kooleido
I was lucky enough to get a promo code for this app. But after using it for 15 minutes straight, I would GLADLY delete it and pay for it again. It is such a fun app and for only a dollar, how can you go wrong? Here is the app description:
"Kooleido is a beautiful, highly interactive and seamless Kaleidoscope experience. It will enable you to experience your iphone art creations in a unique way and be mesmerized by it. It's a generative art / entertainment / creativity app that has received great reviews."
The app link:
There is also a "Lite" version, which is free to try:
The developer has also told me that if I wanted to give my readers some promo codes, I could. So if you want one, please comment, or respond to my twitter post and let me know. I have 3 codes.
There are so many different things you can do with this app and get stunning results. Here are some I made:

Hipstamatic
I finally took the plunge and purchased Hipstmatic.
"With a swipe of the finger, change your lens, flash, or film. Each adds a unique touch to your HipstaPrint, so mix and match to find your favorite combination!"
The app is $1.99 in the app store. After you buy it, you can buy two other films in the app, for 99 cents each. The way the app is designed, it is confusing, because it looks like it is going to cost 99 cents for each film, color gel, etc. But really, they are in two packs, making the app $4.00 in total.
So far, I like it. The effects can come out really beautiful and you can try out various filters, flashes, etc.
The bad, so far, it has crashed a lot. I was messing around with it today and it crashed 4 times in about 6 or so minutes. That is a lot. But I am hoping it will be resolved in the next update. Another thing that is a bummer, is that you can't import old photos, it has to be new ones.
Some new features for the update:
- Major Stability Improvements
- Option to enable "Precision Framing" Viewfinder (for more controlled compositions)
- "Classic" Viewfinder is now more randomly wandering (for more unexpected fun!)
- New free lens: Kaimal Mark II
- New free film: Blanko
- New HipstaPak: Shibuya (includes Roboto Glitter Lens, Berry Pop Flash, and Float Film)
Here are some examples of photos I have shot with this app:

RetroCamera
I first heard about this app a couple of weeks ago. There was a post going around showing a youtube video. If you have not seen it yet, then here is the link to it:
There are two versions of this: RetroCamera Pro which is $1.99 and does not leave a watermark on your photos. The free version is identical to the pro, except that it leaves a visible watermark.

I had been putting off reviewing this app because I wanted to give it the best review I could. But for
now, I will say that I love this app. The filters you can choose from are amazing, and the results look
beautiful. However, this app suffers from one fatal flaw: low resolution. The highest it has is the size of
the screen of the iPhone. How could they come up with something so amazing and have such a
low input? I downloaded the free version and I was lucky when someone gave me a code to the pro
version. But I wouldn't purchase this until it has a better resolution.
This is the biggest size. Gorgeous results, but it's so small.

MonoPhix
I was a lucky user who got a code for this app (Thanks again SCW!)
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/monophix/id333643515?mt=8
Here is the menu: The first is what starts the app, then after, it lets you select one of your photos to edit.
There are three options to choose from:
Using Sepia @ 5.3 for both sliders as well
As you can see from the photos, these are beautiful results. It is well worth the dollar it costs and I recommend it to all photographers. :)

MoreNoel
I had downloaded this app when it first came out, a couple weeks or so ago, and I have enjoyed using it since.
Basically, it is a photo app that adds small effects to your photos.
Here is the menu. You can take a photo inside of the app, or choose one from an album.
Here is a photo I have chosen, with the different effects. The three star bursts add, well, starbursts to your photos. The first one adds a small amount, the second a larger amount, etc. The same goes for the bubbles.
I like the effects, I think they look nice and for a free app this is great Some improvements I would like are, being able to control the intensity of the sparkles and and bubbles.
Here is the link to the app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/morenoel/id338994259?mt=8

Polarize
Took me way too long to write a post about this app. I am a member of the Polarize/LOFI group on Flickr, as well as being a moderator for that group. So I have known about the app since it first came out, back when it was called "ProjectPolaroid". I really admire the developer and the way he can create apps. (I will write about his other apps, LOFI and EffectsLab in later posts) I always had such a fun time taking photos and then putting them in the Polarize app. The app has been free since day 1. Never has he charged for it. Unfortunately, for the past couple months (a lot more than a couple to be honest) Apple has not let him submit another version of his app. This is very unfortunate because there were supposed to be new additions to the app like different handwritting, less bugss, not crashing down as much, etc. But maybe Apple will come to their senses and give us our update. Here is the group (incase you haven't joined yet, come by, say hello!)

Anyways, here are some photos from the app that I took:

Hello
I was thinking about this blog, and I have noticed that since I created it, I post everyday. Well, every weekday I should say. For some reason I don't post on the weekends. I am hoping to change that, post everyday. Is one post a day enough? Is more than that too much? I would love some feedback, I appreciate it so much. :]

ToyCamera 2
I know, I know. Another post about this app. I can't help it! I love it so much. Here is a series of photos I shot with it. Oh btw, if there is anything anyone would like to see on this blog, please tell me. I would love to have more viewers and comments. :]
In case you didn't see my first post, I love this app. It is exactly like a real toycamera. It only lets you shoot photos then and there. You can't apply effects to other photos. If you have ever enjoyed a real toy camera, you would know that that is exactly what it should be like. But with this camera/app you can get better results. Not to mention it isn't as costly or time consuimg developing the film. And while I asoultey love film and that process, it is nice having this with me @ every moment. Toycamera is only $1.99 and I think that is a very resonalbe price. If you buy this app, or already have it, I would love to see some of your results!! :)

I took these photos on Monday. I got to go somewhere I have never been to in the fall. It is so beautiful. My favorite time of year.

CAMERAtan
I had downloaded CAMERAsan a while back, but for some reason, never tried/purchased CAMERAtan. Now I am wondering why the hell not? I bought this app a few days ago and already I love it. The iPhone is becoming one of my favorite cameras/devices. Not because of the camera per say, but because of all of the wonderful apps people create. This one is no different.
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cameratan-toy-digital-camera/id327075195?mt=8
This is page one of the menu. Page 2 has 7 more effects.
A tip I have when using this app: For some reason, it always saves your photo @ the lower quality instead of the higher. You want to make sure you check the button that says 1280pixel(3GS) It's kind of a nuisance but maybe soon it will be fixed.

lo-mob
Has anyone tried out this app? I LOVE it. It was well worth the $2, imo.
This is the link to the App: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lo-mob/id334581568?mt=8
Here is their website: http://lo-mob.com/
I was going to copy their app description from iTunes but I had trouble haha.
But this app is amazing. You can either take a photo, or use one from your other folders. There are 28 different effects, giving your photos a completely different look. All of these photos were processed in this app, but look @ how completely different they are. I highly reccomend you buying this app.
